Sail Buddy seamlessly receives NMEA data from external hardware via WiFi connectivity, requiring hardware equipped with WiFi support or connected to a multiplexer featuring WiFi capabilities. Additionally, the app offers a "demo" mode for users who wish to preview its functionality using simulated NMEA data without connecting to an NMEA network.
